FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PLAY ALONG® LAUNCHES DRAGON FLYZ™

Action takes flight like never before!

Deerfield Beach, FL – February 12, 2006Play Along, Inc., a division of JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (Nasdaq:JAKK) will give flight to their new line of action figures, Dragon Flyz, at the 2006 American International Toy Fair. Dragon Flyz combines classic action figure play patterns with the feature of real flight, giving this new line a unique and exciting edge.
“Dragon Flyz was hugely successful in its original introduction in 1996,” said Jay Foreman, President of Play Along. “We look forward to bringing back this flying action figure marvel with a new modern look and more action performance.”
Kids can launch their Dragon Flyz action figures by snapping the ExoWing™ backpack onto the figure, locking the figure and backpack onto a special hand-held launcher, and pulling the launcher’s cord.  Each figure’s backpack has two large wings that spin, creating the necessary lift for the figure to take off and fly up to 15 feet in the air.   All accessories needed to launch the Dragon Flyz character are included with each figure.

The Dragon with Flying Action Figure includes a dragon, a Dragon Flyz figure, and an ExoWing Pack.  Each 11.25” dragon seats one Dragon Flyz figure and is fully articulated, and also doubles as a launcher.  For ages 6 and up.

Flying Action Figure with Power Launcher includes a Dragon Flyz figure, an ExoWing Pack, and a Power Launcher.  All Dragon Flyz figures stand about 4.25” tall and have 7 points of articulation.  Each product is available in an assortment of four different characters. For ages 6 and up.
Based on Abrams/Gentile Entertainment’s popular 1990s action adventure property, Dragon Flyz are flying warriors of the future.  Their legend foretells of an uninhabitable Earth in the 40th century, forcing mankind to exist in the skies.  With mighty flying dragons as their steeds, heroic Dragon Flyz - Z’Neth, Summit and Peak – are aerial protectors of mankind, who battle the evil mutant Dread Wing.
