PLAY ALONG INTRODUCES EXCITING EXTENSIONS OF ITS TOP BRANDS FOR 2006

Play Along Presents Cabbage Patch Kids®, Care Bears™, Doodle Bear™, Sky Dancers™ and More
at the 2005 American International Fall Toy Show™

Deerfield Beach, FL – October 21, 2005 – Play Along, Inc., a division of JAKKS Pacific, Inc. will announce its 2006 line-up at the third annual American International Fall Toy Show to be held in New York City, October 24-27, 2005.  Play Along’s 2006 offerings will include line extensions of its top brands, as well as the introductions of an exciting new action figures line and a dynamic action-packed sports game.

“Play Along continues to expand its Care Bears and Cabbage Patch Kids portfolios with a variety of fresh products, innovative features and updated accessories,” said Susan Evans, Vice President of Marketing, Play Along. “We’re also very excited about the expansion of our Doodle Bears line to include a number of new items targeted to boys, in addition to the launch of newly-licensed lines of boys’ action figures and sport games.”

Cabbage Patch Kids 
In 2006, the company will build on its successful re-introduction of Cabbage Patch Kids with Magic Touch ColorSilk hair ‘Kids.  These ‘Kids have hair that magically changes color with a warm or cool touch, providing girls the opportunity to create endless styles for their ‘Kids.

After hitting store shelves this fall, the Cabbage Patch Kids Babies line will include an endearing new feature for 2006. All Babies will come with a unique little diary to capture all of Baby’s first memorable moments. Special memories of first steps, first summer, first bedtime story and first birthday can be documented and treasured in these diaries.  Cabbage Patch Kids are the toy industry’s number one large doll brand!

Care Bears
With over 50 million Care Bears sold since the brand was re-launched in 2002, Play Along continues to innovate and refresh the Care Bears line with fun and exciting features.  Beginning in 2006, scented Care Bears will be introduced in a variety of sweet fragrances including delicious strawberry, calming lavender and refreshing mint. These wonderfully scented “floppy” bears have silky fur for extra softness.   

Another new addition to the Care Bears line is the Magic Guessing Game Bear, which comes in two versions: Surprise Bear and Smart Heart Bear, each with their own set of picture cards.  Children select one of the cards, and their Magic Guessing Game Bear will ask questions until it guesses what picture is on that card. The introduction of new items like these continues to make Care Bears the number one plush brand in the toy industry!

Doodle Bears
The Doodle Bear family is growing, too.  Soft and sweet, the new Doodle Girls encourage children to create unique designs and jewelry styles for their washable dolls.  Also new for endless doodling fun, Doodle Pets come with matching travel purses that can be decorated, too. Specifically targeted to boys, the scary Doodle Dinosaurs can be marked up to battle each other, over and over again. Doodle Bears were the industry’s best-selling new plush introduction in 2005!

Sky Dancers
Always enchanting, the new Sky Dancers are prettier than ever. Bubble Magic, the new Sky Dancers line, will introduce three new characters who can magically fly through clusters of beautiful bubbles. The Sky Dancers are also getting embellished with shiny streamers that reflect light as the dolls twirl through the air. Sky Dancers are the only dolls that really fly!
