PLAY ALONG'S SKY DANCERS ARE SOARING AND NEW LINE EXTENSIONS WILL DEBUT FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

Deerfield Beach, FL – July 6, 2005 – Play Along, Inc., a division of JAKKS Pacific, Inc., is expanding its line of Sky Dancers® dolls. Play Along reintroduced the 1990’s girls’ doll sensation to consumers in the spring of 2005, and they were an instant hit, “flying” off the retailers’ shelves.

Sky Dancers stand about 7” tall and fit in a hand-held launcher that propels the dolls into the air when the launcher’s cord is pulled. The dolls each have a unique style, and their launchers are themed for earth, ocean and sky. Their wings spin to create the lift the dolls need to fly from their launchers. They can sail quickly into the air above 10 feet, and float gently back to earth.

The three original Sky Dancers characters--Angelica, Camille, and Jade--have done so well that Play Along is now adding a new Sky Dancer, Radiance! Additionally, the original characters are getting a makeover for the fall of 2005 and will come with redesigned launchers, and new outfits and hairstyles!

Play Along enhances the fantasy of flying fairies with the Magic Twinkling Castle, complete with a magic wand. The wand controls the lights on the castle and the sparkling fiber optic lights hidden beneath the turret. Children can even use it to launch the miniature Sky Dancer, Angelica--included with the castle--up to 5 feet in the air from across the room! Also included is an adorable pixie, Sarina, to accompany the doll.
